The 2022 Honda Civic Hatchback comes in three trims – LX, Sport, and Sport Touring. And as can be seen in the trim comparison table above, the base LX trim comes with a 2.0L, 16-valve, Port Injection, DOHC, i-VTEC® 4-cylinder engine that produces 158 horsepower 138 lb-ft of torque. Those who want a more powerful engine can go for the 2022 Honda Civic Hatchback Sport or Sport Touring trims with a 180-hp 1.5L turbocharged engine.

All three trims come with the choice of either a CVT automatic transmission or a 6-speed manual transmission. They also feature redesigned LED headlights and LED Daylight Running Lights (DRLs) that one can see on the 2022 Honda Civic Sedan too. The 2022 Honda Civic Hatchback features a redesigned rear trunk with a broader cargo opening width and standard Honda Sensing® safety across all trims. 

What are the Color Options available with each trim?

The base LX trim comes in three exterior paints – Meteoroid Grey Metallic, Crystal Black Pearl, and Platinum White Pearl. The Civic Hatchback Sport gets two more exterior finishes, namely Sonic Grey Peal and Rallye Red. While the fully loaded Sport Touring trim level gets two new colors, Boost Blue and Smokey Mauve Pearl, over the Sport trim. Overall, the 2022 Honda Civic Sedan is a delightful package no matter what trim you choose.
