Thanksgiving Family Fossil Hike<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/a><\/h3>\n

When: October 14<\/span>th<\/span>\u00a0at 2:00 PM<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Where: Meet at 7 Conception Bay Highway by\u00a0Manuels\u00a0River<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

What: If you\u2019re looking for something a little different to do on Thanksgiving, this is it. Dr. Rod Taylor will be guiding this hike, which goes along a trail to a protected fossil site. Come prepared to be on your feet for 90 minutes. You get some exercise and some new knowledge while enjoying the great outdoors.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Jack\u00a0O\u2019Lantern\u00a0Festival<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/a><\/h3>\n

When: October 12<\/span>th<\/span>\u00a0and 20<\/span>th<\/span>\u00a0from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Where: Lester\u2019s Farm Chalet at 92 Pearl Town Road\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

What: The Jack\u00a0<\/span>O\u2019Lantern<\/span>\u00a0is a great way to celebrate with family and have fun with the kids. Admission includes a petting zoo, hayride, and face painting. Extra activities include a bouncy castle, scarecrow building contest, hot pepper eating contest, and more. This event is a great way to spend the holiday weekend with your family.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Trucktober<\/span><\/a>\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n

When: October 11<\/span>th<\/span>\u00a0from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Where: Lion\u2019s Club at 102 Bonaventure Avenue\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

What: Friday evenings in October will be celebrated at Lion\u2019s Club with mobile food vendors operating outside. Inside will be a cash bar featuring happy hour prices. Vendors and music will set the mood for this event, a great place to socialize with friends and give thanks to those you know.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
